Protestant Temple, Le Havre
About your activity
The Protestant presence in Le Havre dates back
in the 16th century. The current temple, built in
1862 on the plans of the architect Deconchy,
was bombed in 1941. Restored in
1953 by architects Gaston Delaune,
Jacques Lamy and Gérard Dupasquier,
the building stands out for its sobriety and
its elegance by bringing together architecture
of the 19th century and that of reconstruction.
The guide takes you on the discovery of
this little-known monument.
