Horse-drawn carriage ride in the Augeronne countryside
About your activity
Saint-Pierre-Azif, 10 minutes from Deauville, is the "village in the heart of the stud". But this day will also make you discover the small villages of Pays d'Auge off the beaten track.
The starting point is the church of Saint-Pierre-Azif, whose 12th century Lombard tower is classified as a historical monument. The terrain profile is a bit hilly but without any real difficulty for the crew. Then quietly direction the town hall of the village, beautiful building in pink bricks, a few hooves from the church. On the left, a large field with Limousine cows and a beautiful landscape on the green and hilly countryside.
We allow ourselves a light trot because the small road is clear and flat. The passengers of the carriage are just as delighted as our two nice horses!
We leave Saint-Pierre-Azif to continue to discover the charming nearby villages: Glanville, Bourgeauville, Vauville. Wooded and bucolic paths offer us their generous shade; half-timbered houses are to be admired quietly to the rhythm of the steps of Get Money Maybe and Esprit de Bel Verne.
A picnic break around 12:00 is of course planned.
